Google is removing PageRank toolbar for good. This means that the extension installed on Chrome will not show any data within the next couple of weeks from now on.

Google also explained that the company uses the PageRank algorithm as part of its ranking algorithm however the external values of the PR bar are now going away for good.  Google has not updated the toolbar and the PageRank algorithm for many years.
